The Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Seas (ULISSES) at the University of Lisbon is a project that will provide students with in-depth knowledge about ocean-related issues. Applications for the IV edition of the ULISSES project can be submitted until December 15th.
ULISSES is a project at the University of Lisbon that offers students from nine European universities affiliated with the UNITE! network deep knowledge about ocean-related issues. They will work together to form one interdisciplinary and international team.
For the first time this year, students from Wrocław University of Science and Technology can participate in this project.
The project is aimed at students who want to join a multidisciplinary team that will work over several weeks to present solutions for sustainable ocean use, with completion resulting in earning ECTS points.
The teaching program involves universities belonging to Unite!: the University of Lisbon, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Information sessions – December 4th and 11th, 2023
Applications can be submitted until December 15th, 2023
Preparatory phase from January 29th to April 5th (e-learning combined with classes)
Team project from July 8th to July 26th (in Lisbon)
Final presentation on July 26th (in Lisbon)
Participation in the project is free of charge. Additionally, the program includes mobility within the Erasmus+ program, meaning that students from the EU and other Erasmus+ partner countries can apply for scholarships to cover travel and accommodation expenses at their home institution.
