The completed UNITE.H2020 project focused on planning the future of research and innovation within the network. Throughout the project’s duration, the alliance addressed the challenge set by the European Commission, developing, in synergy with its educational dimension, an integrated, shared, and long-term research and innovation strategy. Another goal was to develop a common research and innovation program and implement several pilot initiatives according to various institutional transformation modules proposed by the EC.
Several activities initiated in the UNITE.H2020 project will be continued under the UNITE!Widening project, launched in January 2024, focusing on widening countries, namely Poland and Portugal. The aim of Unite!Widening is to strengthen Unite! as an alliance by increasing its scientific, technological, and innovative potential, enhancing its excellence as a group.
To emphasize the connection between both projects, a contextual meeting will be organized in Lisbon, Portugal, on February 1st and 2nd.
The focus is on presenting the main objective of the project and the main activities to be carried out within the project work packages.
Its aim is to highlight the significance of the contribution of the UNITE.H2020 project and European alliances in the European Research Area. Interested individuals can register and participate in this meeting.
Unite!WIDENING is a complementary project under the auspices of Unite!, aiming to further enhance excellence in research and knowledge valorization at alliance universities through increased and interconnected collaboration with universities from widening and non-widening countries.
