Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology host the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Unite! university alliance on 6-7 September This meeting is the first visit of all Unite! partner universities at Wroclaw Tech.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw Tech)<\/a>, which together with the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz)<\/a> have recently joined the Unite! alliance, will host the next meeting of representatives of all Unite! Steering Committee. This is the body of the alliance responsible for the coordination and continuous development of the alliance, as well as for cooperation between the partner universities, and comprises representatives from all partners, the so-called Key Liaison Officers (KLO), along with their deputies. The members of the group are responsible for managing the integration within the alliance, as well as creating and coordinating working teams.<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0This meeting will also help to finalise the process of fully integrating our new member universities into our alliance (The University of Technology in Graz and Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology), as well as to start our work on the next phase of Unite!, for which Unite! received funding from the European Commission in July this year \u2013 says Andreas Winkler, Secretary General of the Unite!<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professor Arkadiusz W\u00f3js, the President of Wroc\u0142aw Tech<\/strong>, said he was very pleased that September\u2019s Unite! Steering Committee is taking place in Wroc\u0142aw, as it\u2019s an excellent opportunity to introduce Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology to all the partners, now that the process of connecting our university to the alliance is coming to an end.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In November this year it is planned that both Graz University of Technology and Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology will become full members of the alliance and thus fully involved in the development of the European University concept promoted by Unite!<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0It will be then that the new university alliance development project funded by the European Commission with a total budget of more than 14.5 million euros will be launched\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0explains Piotr Rutkowski from Wroc\u0142aw Tech<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In addition to the above topics, the participants will discuss current issues related to the building of individual spheres of integration, such as the virtual campus, internal communication within the alliance, and the development of coherent foundations of curricula.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
