{"id":3706,"date":"2026-06-02T12:42:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T12:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unite.pwr.edu.pl\/?p=3706"},"modified":"2026-07-08T12:43:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T12:43:32","slug":"how-unite-integrates-wellbeing-into-higher-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unite.pwr.edu.pl\/en\/how-unite-integrates-wellbeing-into-higher-education\/","title":{"rendered":"How Unite! integrates wellbeing into Higher Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mb-4 row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-6 col-md-12\">\n<p class=\"description\"><strong>On 27\u201328 April 2026, Grenoble INP &#8211; UGA hosted a seminar with 28 professionals from 5 EU institutions across the Unite! alliance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The seminar was designed as a collaborative space where partners could share practices, build connections, and reflect on driving change with a sustainable societal purpose.\u00a0<strong>Organised by the Wellbeing Expert Team of the Inclusion, Diversity &amp; Wellbeing Community<\/strong>, the event focused on how personal wellbeing, inner development, and systems thinking can foster sustainable change.<\/p>\n<p>Through a combination of inspirational sessions, open dialogue, and experiential workshops, participants worked with frameworks such as the\u00a0<b>Inner Development Goals (IDG)<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0<b>Compassionate Systems Framework<\/b>. These tools enabled attendees to examine underlying structures, cultivate self-awareness, and develop a systemic understanding\u2014key elements for enabling meaningful transformation.<\/p>\n<p>A core strength of the seminar was the diversity of its participants. The cohort brought together a wide mix of professional perspectives, including heads of student life departments, career counsellors, teachers, researchers, decision-makers, and project managers. This professional heterogeneity created a rich environment for perspective-sharing, encouraging participants to step outside their comfort zones and fostering collective learning.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"key-takeaways-from-individual-skills-to-institutional-frameworks\" tabindex=\"0\">Key Takeaways: From Individual Skills to Institutional Frameworks<\/h3>\n<p>The seminar highlighted that sustainable change cannot simply be understood intellectually; it must be embodied. Creating responsive cultures requires integrating everyday systems awareness skills, such as self-awareness, emotional literacy, and a clear understanding of systems dynamics.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"cite-unite border-start border-light-subtle border-5 py-2 ps-3 mb-3 h5\">\n<div class=\"mb-1\">\n<p>&#8220;The workshop reawakened my sensitivity to the values that underpin prosocial leadership. I feel more motivated to push organisational culture to be better, more effective, more empathetic, and more equitable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<footer class=\"text-secondary d-flex align-items-center\">\u2013 One of the seminar participants<\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To navigate today\u2019s complex and unpredictable world, participants explored practical tools and approaches. Through\u00a0<b>grounding, journaling, and systems sensing<\/b>, attendees worked on connecting with themselves and others, building the adaptability and resilience needed in higher education today.<\/p>\n<p>This event served as a stepping stone toward the official presentation of the\u00a0<b>Unite! Wellbeing Framework<\/b>, which will be unveiled at the\u00a0<b>Unite! Dialogue in Stockholm in October 2026<\/b>.
