From 20 to 22 April, Strasbourg will host the 5th edition of the European Student Assembly (ESA 2026), the flagship initiative of the EUC Voices Erasmus+ project. This year, seven students from Unite! universities have been selected to represent our alliance and contribute to the future of European policy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Strasbourg (France) welcomes back the annual event,\u00a0which brings together around 250 students from 65 European University Alliances to debate and draft policy recommendations. Among the Unite! delegation, these seven students will serve as both participants and panel coordinators, a role reserved for those with proven leadership experience and subject\u00a0expertise.<\/p>\n

The 8 discussion panels:<\/h3>\n

The assembly will be structured around eight essential themes that address Europe’s current challenges:<\/p>\n

  1. Strengthening\u00a0democracy<\/strong>:\u00a0bridging the gap between EU institutions and citizens<\/li>\n
  2. Scaling the\u00a0circular\u00a0economy<\/strong>:\u00a0encouraging cross-sectoral systemic change<\/li>\n
  3. Aligning\u00a0budget with\u00a0impact<\/strong>:\u00a0adapting Union funding to social shifts<\/li>\n
  4. Europe\u00a0moving\u00a0together<\/strong>:\u00a0developing an inclusive public transport system<\/li>\n
  5. Unlocking\u00a0digital\u00a0potential<\/strong>:\u00a0empowering digital literacy and cybersecurity resilience<\/li>\n
  6. Educating\u00a0without\u00a0borders<\/strong>:\u00a0supporting interdisciplinary cooperation in universities<\/li>\n
  7. Enabling\u00a0generational\u00a0solidarity<\/strong>:\u00a0addressing demographic change and senior participation<\/li>\n
  8. Europe\u2019s\u00a0strategic\u00a0autonomy<\/strong>:\u00a0reconciling trade agreements with core EU values<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    More than just a conference,\u00a0ESA 2026<\/strong>\u00a0is a platform\u00a0where European students connect, debate, and share diverse perspectives<\/strong>\u00a0to shape the transformation of tomorrow\u2019s Europe.<\/p>\n

    Two Student Liaison Officers from Unite!, Honorata Poturaj (WroclawTech) and Elisa Hausherr (Grenoble INP-UGA) will participate in the event\u00a0<\/strong>to accompany the students, support their engagement, and build connections with other alliance representatives and policymakers.<\/p>\n

    In addition,\u00a0an Advisor Alumni from Unite!, Maciej Kisielewicz\u00a0<\/strong>(Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology),\u00a0will also take part in ESA 2026<\/strong>. As former participants, they will support panel coordinators and contribute to the facilitation of the assembly.<\/p>\n
