The Unite! Award 2025 Ceremony took place last week during the Closing Plenary Session of the Aalto Dialogue, hosted by Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As every year, nominees are proposed by the rectors and presidents of each Unite! partner university, based on their institution\u2019s own criteria, while the final awardees are selected by the Unite! Executive Board. The winners represent the full diversity of the Unite! community, including students, teachers, researchers, and staff.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Meet the winners of this edition<\/p>\n

For\u00a0Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology: Krystyna Kubiak<\/strong><\/p>\n

Krystyna Kubiak as the Technical Coordinator of the Unite! WIDENING project has actively contributed to key initiatives such as the Industry-Embedded Doctoral School by leading dissemination and communication activities.<\/p>\n

\n

For\u00a0Politecnico di Torino: Eugenio Brusa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eugenio Brusa has been involved with Unite! since the beginning of the alliance, first as Deputy KLO and next as Cm.7 Coordinator His contribution to the development of PhD activities within Unite! has been fundamental to the advancement of doctoral courses across the alliance.<\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Aalto University: Dr Minna S\u00f6derqvist and the Unite! Doctoral education services team<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have made a significant, long-term impact by championing increased mobility opportunities for Aalto\u2019s and partners doctoral students within the Unite alliance.<\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Kungliga Tekniska h\u00f6gskolan: \u00c6SIR: Association of Engineering Students in Rocketry<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u00c6SIR, Association of Engineering Students in Rocketry has showcased a deep engagement in the Unite! Community and have been a role model of student engagement, innovation, and leadership.<\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes: Lucie Jiraskova<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Former Grenoble INP-UGA Deputy KLO & Unite! Cm 3. Co-lead for Wellbeing, Jiraskova has put significant efforts to support inclusion, diversity and well-being in our universities thanks to collaborative actions within Unite!<\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Technische Universit\u00e4t Graz: Dr.techn.Bernd Deustchmann and the GreenChips-EDU project team<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bernd Deutschmann and GreenChips-EDU Project Team have played a pivotal role on bringing together committed educators, researchers and industry in the field of microelectronics and successfully securing funding for their project through Digital Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Technische Universit\u00e4t Darmstadt: Prof. Dr. Jan Phillip Hoffmann, Dr Bettina Wagner\u00a0<\/strong>and Ms. Corrina Caspar-Terizakis<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have been instrumental in promoting young scientists from TUDa and played a key role in the strategic expansion of the Unite! Doctoral School.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Universidade de Lisboa: SLO team<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ULisboa Unite! SLO Team has demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm in supporting Unite! initiatives such as the Unite! Student festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nFor\u00a0Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC)\u00a0: Pau Maza, Milica Zivanic (SURE!)<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have played an instrumental role in the establishment of SURE! and contributed to building the alliance from the students’ perspective with an active and committed involvement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
