Join us in shaping a practical, hands-on programme that not only enhances their skills but also builds concrete collaborations and long-term cooperation within the alliance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submit your ideas for training sessions\u00a0<\/strong>(or only their parts) on selected topics, or help us\u00a0<strong>identify practitioners and experts<\/strong>\u00a0who are passionate about these themes and are ready to\u00a0<strong>share their expertise and knowledge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the Widening Training Series<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Widening Training Series for Researchers is a joint programme of Unite!Widening. Its<br \/>\ngoals are to:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>equip researchers (from early- to late-career) with advanced, practical knowledge on<br \/>\ntopics such as supervision, careers, research management, and collaboration;<\/li>\n<li>leverage the knowledge and experience of non-Widening universities;<\/li>\n<li>support researchers in Widening institutions (ULisboa and Wroclaw Tech in<br \/>\nparticular) through targeted trainings.<br \/>\nThe first trainings will focus on<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scientific focus areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Training Series is anchored in Unite!Widening\u2019s four scientific focus areas. We therefore<br \/>\nparticularly welcome training proposals that use concrete examples, data or cases from:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health &amp; Biotech<\/li>\n<li>Urban &amp; Resources Sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Circular Economy &amp; Materials<\/li>\n<li>Digital &amp; Autonomous Technologies<br \/>\nYour session does not need to be limited to these fields, but using real examples from them is<br \/>\nencouraged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why participate as a trainer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel and accommodation costs are covered by Unite!Widening.<\/li>\n<li>You expand your professional network across 9 universities.<\/li>\n<li>You will be able to share your expertise and contribute to the community\u2019s growth.<\/li>\n<li>You receive support from the Widening team for designing your session (slides,<br \/>\nstructure, templates, hand-outs) and for on-site organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What kind of sessions can you propose?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The target audience is researchers at all career stages from ULisboa and Wroc\u0142awTech, as<br \/>\nwell as.<br \/>\nother researchers from other Widening and Unite! institutions.<br \/>\nFor these trainings, we are especially interested in:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops with exercises and tools (templates, canvases, checklists)<\/li>\n<li>Case-based sessions using real examples from your institution<\/li>\n<li>Clinics where participants work on their own situations (e.g., supervision challenges,<br \/>\nmobility cases, collaboration ideas)<\/li>\n<li>Peer exchange formats (roundtables, good practice exchanges, role-playing)<br \/>\nEach proposed session should be 3\u20136 hours (half or full day). Sessions can be co-designed<br \/>\nand co-taught by trainers from different universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can propose a session?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Staff, faculty, and researchers from all Unite! partner universities.<\/li>\n<li>We particularly welcome proposals involving at least one trainer from a non-Widening<br \/>\npartner (TU Graz, TU Darmstadt, KTH, UPC, PoliTO, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information: <a href=\"https:\/\/unite.pwr.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Program-and-trainings-descripion-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Programs and Training Description<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Practical details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funding: Travel and accommodation for trainers are covered by Unite!Widening<\/p>\n<p>Working language: English<\/p>\n<p>Format: on-site \u2013 in different locations (Barcelona, Lisbon, Wroclaw, etc\u2026).
