Research School in Autrans, several participants expressed interest in returning to Grenoble as visiting professors or visiting scientists. The\u00a0<strong>Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes (UGA)<\/strong>\u00a0has now launched its internal\u00a0<strong>IRGA call \u2013 Initiatives de Recherche Grenoble Alpes<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 offering a dedicated programme for hosting international researchers on short-term visits.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"who-can-apply\" tabindex=\"0\">Who can apply?<\/h3>\n<p>Although the programme is designed for international academics, applications must be\u00a0submitted\u00a0internally by a permanent UGA staff member (a researcher, teacher-researcher, or research engineer with a PhD) affiliated with a UGA research unit.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u201c<strong>Accueil\u00a0de\u00a0scientifiques\u00a0invit\u00e9s\u00a0internationaux<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0scheme specifically targets academics currently employed at an institution outside France.\u00a0Interested candidates should first contact their potential host in Grenoble \u2014 for example, colleagues met during the Research School \u2014 as the UGA host must act as the project leader.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"what-funding-is-available\" tabindex=\"0\">What funding is available?<\/h3>\n<p>The programme supports\u00a0<strong>1\u20132-month stays<\/strong>, in one or two periods of at least one month each.
