The deadline for all submissions is March 20, 2025, with various matchmaking events scheduled to help participants find partners for their projects<\/div>\n

The Unite! Alliance is pleased to announce the opening of the call for the Unite! Seed Fund 2025, a fund designed to support innovative and collaborative projects among the alliance’s member universities. This fund offers financial support to students, researchers, and professors who wish to initiate\u00a0joint initiatives between at least three Unite! universities (and at least two for student proposals)<\/strong>, encouraging collaboration and excellence in education, research, and innovation.<\/p>\n

Research&PhD and Teaching&Learning proposals must address on the\u00a0Unite! Focus Areas:<\/strong>\u00a0Sustainable Energy; Artificial Intelligence; Industry 4.0; Entrepreneurship; Engineering Biology (and Biotechnology); Space; Cybersecurity; and Sustainable Cities & Water.<\/p>\n

Proposals will be evaluated based on their\u00a0overall quality, sustainability and long-term perspectives, and potential impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2025 Seed Fund call includes three categories:<\/p>\n

Student Activities Call<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0The deadline for contacting\u00a0Unite! Student Liaison Officer\u00a0<\/a>in each university is\u00a06 March 2025.
\n<\/b>The deadline for presenting the proposals\u00a0is\u00a0March 20, 2025.<\/b><\/p>\n

Available budget:<\/strong>\u00a0Up to \u20ac20,000 per project, with a total of \u20ac100,000 available to fund proposals involving at least two Unite! universities.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong>\u00a0Funding for collaborative projects that bring value to the student community, such as exhibitions, events, competitions, hackathons, or extracurricular activities in any format (in-person, hybrid, or digital).<\/p>\n

Virtual matchmaking event<\/strong>: February 11, 2025, 14:00 – 16:00 CET.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Teaching and Learning Call<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0March 20, 2025<\/p>\n

Available budget<\/strong>: Up to \u20ac80,000 per project, depending on the number of participating universities, with a total of \u20ac230,000.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong>\u00a0To promote the creation of joint teaching programs, especially at the master’s level, focused on Unite!’s focus areas areas.<\/p>\n

Virtual matchmaking event<\/strong>: February 12, 2025, 14:00 – 16:00 CET.<\/p>\n

Research and PhD Call<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0March 20, 2025<\/p>\n

Available budget:<\/strong>\u00a0Up to \u20ac80,000, depending on the number of participating universities,\u00a0with a total of \u20ac350,000.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong>\u00a0To foster collaborative research in strategic areas such as Energy, Biotechnology, Cybersecurity, and more, with projects involving at least three Unite! universities.<\/p>\n

Virtual matchmaking event<\/strong>: February 14, 2025, 13:00 – 15:00 CET.<\/p>\n
